Young 1ove and the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) Africa team, with support from organisations implementing TaRL across Africa, will host an 8-day TaRL workshop in Gaborone, Botswana.
Who should attend the workshop?
TaRL workshops are designed for organisations or individuals interested in implementing the TaRL approach in their context. There are a limited number of spots available – we are holding an application process for those interested in attending. Please see instructions below.
What will the workshop cover?
Workshops will cover the basics of TaRL, with a focus on TaRL classroom methodology. It will be facilitated by a mix of Young 1ove and TaRL Africa team staff, as well as experienced TaRL implementers and instructors from across Africa. How much does the workshop cost?

Dates: Learning journey – 9 September 2019; Workshop – 10-18 September 2019
If you plan to attend the learning journey, please arrive in Gaborone any time before 7am on 9 September. If you are attending the workshop, please see the agenda above to help guide your arrival and departure times.
Accommodation: Please book your own accommodation. You may contact the Woodlane Hotel to make a booking, or see the list of accommodation options in Gaborone.
Transport in Gaborone: Please note that participants are responsible for arranging their own transport in Gaborone. We recommend that you contact your accommodation venue for taxi options.
